Our Services

General Practice
From childhood sniffles to managing ongoing health needs, we're here for every stage of your journey. Our doctors take the time to listen, understand your story, and work alongside you to keep you well.

Skin Checks
Our skin checks provide a thorough, unhurried assessment of your skin, with a focus on early detection and prevention. Appointments are performed by experienced GPs using dermoscopy to assess moles and skin lesions, and to identify signs of skin cancer or other concerning changes.
We take the time to review your personal and family history, sun exposure, and any specific spots of concern. Where needed, we can arrange monitoring, biopsy, or treatment, and coordinate follow-up care.

Contraception and IUD insertion
If now is not the time for you to be adding to or starting your family, we offer comprehensive advice on contraception. Together we can find a contraceptive method that works for you. We perform insertion of the contraceptive rod (Implanon) and hormonal IUD’s (Mirena/Kyleena). We can also advise on emergency contraception and are accredited providers of Medical Termination of Pregnancy.

Antenatal shared care
Women planning to give birth at The Wollongong Hospital (public) may choose the Shared Care model for their antenatal care.
With shared care, the majority of your pregnancy appointments are with your GP, with a smaller number of visits at the hospital antenatal clinic. This model supports continuity of care, allowing you to be cared for by a GP who understands your medical history, values, and family context — and who can continue to support you and your family well beyond the six-week post-partum period.

Perinatal Care (Embrace Signature Consult)
The early months of parenthood can come with a lot of questions. Our Embrace Signature Consult gives you dedicated time to slow down, work through what’s happening and make a plan that works for you and your family.
These one-hour appointments can be used for a deep dive into:
- Feeding challenges, including tongue tie assessment
- Baby and toddler sleep
- Perinatal mental health and wellbeing
- A combination of concerns
- Or simply all those questions you've been saving up!
We’ll focus on what matters most to you, take the time to understand the bigger picture, and develop practical, individualised strategies.
A range of follow-up packages are available depending on your needs, so you can continue to receive support beyond your initial appointment.

Drop-in breastfeeding support
Mondays | 10:00am – 11:30am
Sometimes you don't need a full consultation—you just need a quick check-in, some reassurance, or the opportunity to ask a few questions.
Our weekly Drop-In Breastfeeding Support Clinic is a relaxed, welcoming space where you can come as you are. Whether you're wondering if your baby's feeding is normal, experiencing a minor feeding niggle, or looking for some encouragement, we're here to help.
This clinic is ideal for:
- Minor breastfeeding or bottle-feeding concerns
- Checking that feeding is on the right track
- Questions about positioning or attachment
- General infant feeding advice
- Reassurance and support from an experienced GP and IBCLC
You're welcome to book your place online or simply drop in on the day.
Is this clinic right for me? Our Drop-In Clinic is designed for straightforward feeding concerns and brief advice.
If your baby has significant feeding difficulties, poor weight gain, suspected tongue tie, or you feel you need a more comprehensive assessment, we recommend booking a Perinatal Signature Consult instead. These one-hour appointments allow time for a thorough assessment, including a feeding review, weight check, screening for medical contributors, and tongue tie assessment where appropriate.
If you're unsure which appointment is right for you, don't worry—we're happy to help guide you to the service that best meets your family's needs.

Menopause Care (Embrace Signature Consult)
Thoughtful care through change. We provide personalised support to help you navigate menopause with confidence, comfort, and clarity.
This extended consult looks at the whole you—symptoms, hormones, sleep, mood, lifestyle, and wellbeing. You’ll have the time to ask questions, explore your options, and understand how the menopause transition is affecting your body. Together, we’ll create a practical, individualised plan that aligns with your values and supports your physical and emotional health for the years ahead.

Circle of Security Parenting Course (6 Weeks)
Run by Social Worker, Melinda Furbank, our Circle of Security Parenting course is a gentle, evidence-based program designed to help you better understand your child’s emotional world — and strengthen your relationship with them.
Over six weekly sessions, you’ll learn to recognise your child’s cues, support their big feelings, and build a secure base from which they can explore, grow, and thrive. The course focuses on practical, everyday parenting moments, helping you feel more confident and connected — even during the tricky times.
We explore concepts like being “bigger, stronger, wiser and kind,” understanding the “circle” of your child’s needs, and reflecting on your own responses as a parent — all within a supportive, non-judgemental space.
This course is suitable for parents and caregivers of children of all ages, and is especially helpful if you’re wanting to deepen connection, navigate challenging behaviours, or simply feel more grounded in your parenting.

Possums/NDC Mother's Groups
The early weeks and months of parenting can be both beautiful and overwhelming. Our GP-facilitated Mothers' Group offers a welcoming space to learn, connect and build confidence alongside other local mums navigating the same season of life.
Run by Dr Hayley Glasson, this three-week program is grounded in the principles of Neuroprotective Developmental Care (NDC), also known as the Possums approach. NDC is an evidence-based framework that supports infant development while helping parents better understand feeding, sleep and the realities of life with a new baby.
Across three sessions, we'll explore topics including:
- Biological infant sleep and what is normal
- Feeding your baby with confidence
- The transition to parenthood and changing identity
- Looking after your own wellbeing
- Parenting resources and navigating the often overwhelming world of advice
- Clarifying your family's values and goals as parents
Each session provides plenty of opportunity to ask questions, share experiences and learn from one another in a supportive, judgement-free environment.
Our goal is simple: for you to leave feeling informed, supported and connected—to your baby, to yourself, and to a community of parents walking a similar path.
Whether you're a first-time mum or adding to your family, we'd love to welcome you.

Illawarra Birth Classes
We are proud to host Illawarra Birth Classes
Birth preparation and fourth trimester education, created specifically for Illawarra families.
Run by Alyssa Booth - doula and babywearing consultant, Illawarra Birth Classes offers practical, evidence-informed classes to help you feel confident and prepared for birth — and for life with your new baby.
Birth Preparation covers the physical process of labour, what to expect, a wide range of comfort and coping techniques, and practical insights into birthing at Wollongong Public and Wollongong Private Hospitals. You’ll learn the skills and knowledge to support the birth you want, without being told there’s one “right” way to give birth.
Fourth Trimester focuses on what happens after birth — newborn behaviour, feeding, sleep, settling, parental recovery, babywearing and the realities of those early weeks. You’ll leave with practical tools, realistic expectations and greater confidence as you navigate the transition to parenthood.
