Alyssa has been a presence in the birth space for 16 years, including a decade as a practising birth doula. Over that time, she has sat alongside families through some of the most profound, complex and transformative moments of their lives.

She is fiercely passionate about maternal autonomy, informed decision-making and helping families feel confident in their choices. Alyssa’s work begins with listening — helping families uncover what matters most to them, understand their options and navigate a maternity system that doesn’t always make that easy.

At Embrace, Alyssa will be sharing her experience and passion with our local community through birth and fourth trimester classes, as well as babywearing meet-ups and individual babywearing consultations.

Whether you’re preparing for your first baby, wanting to feel more confident about your birth and post partum period, or simply looking to connect with other local families, Alyssa brings a wealth of experience, warmth and practical support to the Embrace community.
